Project Description
The Ways We & Things Are is a fictional exhibition catalogue showcasing the work of six trans artists. The title is a play on the saying “the way things are” but transforms the term into one with possibility and agency. The design considers ideas of fluidity and legibility. Examples of this include the selection of colors that resist simple categorization and a two column system that allows space for dialogue in between.
